Debian web server down?

Postby papa » Sat May 22, 2010 5:07 am

Browser requests for Debian's top page (http://www.polarhome.com:753/) and my home page (http://www.polarhome.com:753/~papa) have been timing out without returning any contents since yesterday.

I can log on to my Debian shell account without trouble.

I don't know a lot about sysading, but top reports CPU usage close to 90%, memory usage close to 100%, but no swap usage. Sounds a bit odd to me.

Zoli, could you look into this, please?

Hello,

... thank you for warning.
apache came to a very strange state.
After restart it works well again.
Regards,

Again, please post items like this in Chitchat and don't set the font so small. Also, I think we can do without the Nike links.
